Animal Health Veteran to Promote Loyalty Solutions
Atlanta, GA: Vetlocity, Inc., a technology company that helps brands and veterinary practices build loyalty among pet owners, announced today that industry-veteran, Terry Edmondson, has joined the company to help develop and grow its solutions for veterinary clinics.
Terry joins as director of business development. In this role, he will share Vetlocity’s products and services with veterinary practices and industry vendors nationwide to help them increase engagement with their pet owners. Terry comes with more than 15 years of animal health experience in sales and marketing with Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, Purchasing Services, Inc. and Pfizer Animal Health. In addition to his roles in manufacturing, Terry is managing partner of several pet resorts and animal hospitals across the southeast. He explains, “ As a pet lover and business owner, I see the opportunity we have to give veterinarians solutions that help them engage with their pet owners and strengthen the human-animal bond.“
Doug Brown, president and founder of Vetlocity, explained, “When we started building loyalty programs for brands more than 10 years ago, we learned quickly that there wasn’t an easy—or effective—solution out there. So we built one. Now, with Terry’s help, we’re expanding our offerings to include engagement solutions for veterinarians. We know that the more compliant we can make pet owners, the healthier their pets will be. And that’s the long-term goal for everyone in this business.”
